The test should prove that the following features are supported.

  • starts and stops
  • writes a file
  • saves a file
  • opens a file
  • saves file as
  • search works
  • search and replace works
  • go to a line works
  • side panel can be displayed
  • bottom panel can be displayed
  • spellchecker works
  • grammar highlighting works
  • a language can be set
  • document stats work
  • insert timestamp works
  • settings work
  • shortcuts can be displayed
  • help can be displayed
  • About screen can be displayed
