https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_rpm-ostree_upgrade is a blocking test for Fedora-IoT, and a good candidate for openQA automation. We should implement it.

So I guess the problem here is the old "how do we make sure we have something to update to?", right?
For package update tests, we solve that with our "downgrade python3-kickstart to a dummy version" dodge. I don't know if there's something similar we can do here, as I don't really know anything about building ostrees...
Right, trying to work that out now. One option is downgrading to the previous commit then upgrading back to the current compose.
