#631 Move IoT test cases to QA namespace with more 'standard' names
Closed: Fixed 3 years ago by adamwill. Opened 3 years ago by adamwill.

A lot of the IoT test cases still live in @pwhalen 's namespace. Now we have official validation events for IoT I think it'd look neater if they were in the QA namespace with 'standard' names following the informal convention we've used for test names for the last few years: QA:Testcase_something. Obviously, this involves renaming the pages then updating the matrix template.

oh, forgot to mention, it'd also be neat to put them in a category - we have a sort-of convention here too, so the category name should probably be Category:IoT_Acceptance_Test_Cases, even though we don't really use the "acceptance" term in many other places any more :) (we also have Category:Server_Acceptance_Test_Cases, Category:Desktop_Acceptance_Test_Cases, etc.)

I already talked to @coremodule about it and even added a comment here:
https://pagure.io/fedora-qa/issue/618#comment-652035

Once that's done, I believe we can close #618. So this ticket might be closed as a duplicate, or we can keep it, I don't really care.

I believe @coremodule said he would work on it, but he actually didn't respond to #618. Ping, @coremodule, are you looking into it / will you take this?

it seemed a bit clearer to me to track them as separate tasks, since the test cases do exist now...

I'm moving them over today, will update the ticket when complete.

Seems to be all done now.
