#529 Wiki to Fedora Doc Migration
Closed: Fixed 4 years ago by sumantrom. Opened 6 years ago by sumantrom.

As discussed the Fedora QA join page will be the first thing to exist in both wiki and fedora doc.
Onboarding docs and few getting started guides with Fedora QA will follow

To be kept in mind:
We will not be duplicating the wiki. The wiki is for something which is liable to change multiple times within a given time frame, whereas the docs are somewhat more consistent. Previously, Fedora QA team would use community blog as a platform to publish getting started materials, but as the cog wheel of time revolves, the posts become stale and limit the scope for updates. The docs will have a "qa" repo which will enable contributors to add/update and maintain the onboarding guides and other resources.

@sumantrom let me know how I can help you here. We can get this set up as a repo to publish to docs.fp.o. I am more free after 5 Feb for this.

@bex awesome! I will ping you post 5th.

hey @bex, can you help me set up the repo?

hey @bex, can you help me set up the repo?

Sure - what repo do you want to use? If you don't have an existing one please create one and add me as a committer, (I can be removed later).

We have the repo at https://pagure.io/fedora-qa/qa-docs/ and the .adoc files will be dumped there. In the meantime @bex will help me publish them on docs.fp.o

To properly set expectations this will probably happen during the docs FAD starting on 26 February, not before.

@bex sure . meanwhile, I will start putting some more docs in the same repo
