We'd like to organize a test day for Modem support.
Fedora 25 is going to include new !ModemManager 1.6 major release and also updated associated tooling (libqmi, libmbim, usb_modeswitch and usb_modeswitch-data).
There's a lot of new devices and features supported and some potentially dangerous changes (removed driver binding hack). Let's make sure we can support the hardware our users and testers have.
Available for the support will be the !NetworkManager crowd (definitely me, then perhaps thaller, bgalvani, fguidici and dcbw).
Date: preferrably after the Alpha (we will provide COPR for older releases too) so that the regular OS images can be used.
Preferably sometime between August 15th and August 30th, 2016 Alternatively after September 6th
Hi, I tentatively set the test day to August 25th (two days after alpha should be released). If Alpha will be delayed or you would prefer another time, just let me know I will change it. You can find fedocal entry [[https://apps.fedoraproject.org/calendar/QA/2016/8/25/#m4406|here]].
For preparation follow [[https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA/SOP_Test_Day_management|this wiki page]].
Thank you.

Aye sir. Thank you. Let's settle on the August 25th? That way we'll have a definite date to use when announcing the event.
If the Alpha slips, then we can spin packages for the event or the nightlies or even Fedora 24 + COPR will do.

Thanks Lubo
Looks like this went off successfully, thanks!
