Software Center and Apper both use the same backend tools yum uses. While this doesn't strictly fall under the umbrella of the DNF migration - we need someone to keep an eye on these tools and ensure they work. It would probably be good to have two people handle this, one for Software Center and one for Apper.
Updated the calendar and created the wiki page https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2015-04-23_SoftwareCenter_Apper
I'm gonna propose we delay this, as roshi is on leave ATM and I don't think anyone else had a good sense for what we planned to test here. We could push it one week to 2015-04-30, perhaps? That's still before Final freeze. Mike, do you know when you'll be back yet?
This doesn't seem to be happening tomorrow (the wiki page is still an unmodified default template), so I removed this from fedocal.
I didn't really have a grand plan for what specifically to test for this. Just some basic functionality tests would suffice I think:
The migration shouldn't be a huge impact to these packages, but some basic smoke tests to ensure it basically works would be good.
I agree with rosh. Functionality tests are sufficient. A test to ensure that it works.
If you want, I can create Test Plans for each poin so we can make a near Test Day.
Regards!
We'll take a shot at this on Thursday, I've moved the page to https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2015-04-30_SoftwareCenter_Apper . I'll throw some test cases at it tomorrow.
I've now filled out the test day page with some viable content and test cases.
Test day took place and results can be found here:

Thank you all for help with organization of this test day.
