#387 Updates pending stable show as stable
Closed: Fixed None Opened 10 years ago by kparal.

A package that is in updates-testing and is pending stable is shown as [stable] in the app. That can cause some confusion (i.e. one of us can close a related bug by assuming the package is already stable, and the package push can be cancelled afterwards).

I think the app should display the repository the package is currently in, not the repository the package in pending to. What do you think?

What about a different visual representation? The first thing that comes to mind is to do a stiped red and green for pending stable. Do you think that would be obvious enough?

I think there's utility in having a difference between testing and pending-stable but yeah, there's definitely a difference between stable and pending-stable.

Can we change the label from [stable] to [pending stable], having it still green? That can't be mistaken and we have quite enough of horizontal space, I think. Also, when we do a mouse over, the "Status" column in the tooltip would say "pending stable" instead of "stable".

We can do the same for updates-testing.
