We'd like to test the process of replacing MySQL->MariaDB and basic MariaDB functionality on various users' testing data. It should basically cover new feature as described at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/ReplaceMySQLwithMariaDB
I'd like to suggest 2013-04-18.
Any help with creating a Live CD (no special requirements) or test cases description would be appreciate.
I'm sorry, 2013-04-18 is already taken by FreeIPA[1]. Next open slot is: 2013-06-06

2013-06-06 is too late, there is practically no time to fix anything before change deadline, which is 2013-06-10. First half of May is probably the latest acceptable time. Btw. why not doing the test day another day than Thursday or doing two separate test days in one day?
Fedora test days were never intended to work like this. They just got twisted into this Thursday schedule by Red Hat's Fedora QA team.
Just find a time that suits your needs best as in preferable when you can be available for the test day and we ( the community ) will simply add it to the schedule.
I don't think we restrict it to Thursdays. It is only recommended day. Feel free to take any date and post it here. Thank you.
Yep, I'm thinking about adding Tuesdays to Test Day schedule. "Final Change Deadline" may be delayed around 2-3 weeks if starts F19 slipping "tradition" again.
An fix schedule should be dropped altogether as we intended to do in the long run...
There are two other reasons for fixed schedule. Marketing, eg. you can help with next-Fedora testing every Thursday. Second is, we don't want to overwhelm users with two non-related Test Days. We can make exceptions when it makes sense like X Test Week.
Anyway, I added some Tuesday Open slots, feel free to pick up one for MariaDB.
So let's make it 2013-04-30, please.

Please use this template: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA/Test_Days/Template for Test Day page creation.
Thanks!
