#353 Fedora 19 test day for FreeIPA
Closed: Fixed None Opened 11 years ago by dpal.

We would like to take 4/25 for IPA test day for testing of the following features: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/IPAv3TrustImprovements

It currently collides with the desktop test date but I think it is OK as we do not look for the same audience of testers.
Hope it does not violate any rules.

I'm afraid 4/25 won't be possible due to #fedora-test-day channel collision.

Next available date is 2013-05-30, is this ok for you?

Sorry, 2013-06-06?

2013-05-30 is already taken by Virtualization.

No we need something in the second half of April.

We can run two test days on the same day if we really have to, by using a different channel for one. We've done it before. I'd like to avoid that, though, if we can. A less messy alternative is to do a non-Thursday event; we do allow those in the case you really need a specific time frame and all the Thursday slots are taken. I usually suggest Tuesdays; that would be 2013-04-23.

What about 2013-04-04 or is it too early? I think Printing can be moved after Beta release...

I am traveling so sorry for the slow responses. 04-04 is too early. 23rd would work perfectly. It does not matter which day of the week it is.
IMO desktop taking 3 days in a row is just ridiculous there should be some way to submit all the requests with priorities and time frame constraints and then assign dates for them. Current system of first come first served is just broken.

I'd like to avoid having two Test Day in the same time. I think your audience could also benefit from X Test Week. Almost every Fedora user runs some kind of Linux desktop and probably depends on Intel/Nouveau/Radeon drivers.

There is still free slot on Thursday 2013-04-18, would this work for you?
