We would like to do KDE 4.10 Test Day on 2013-05-30.
Feature: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/KDE410
Reuse: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2012-11-15_KDE_4.9 and add test cases for new KDE 4.10 features.
There is a suggestion to make make desktop Test Days sooner than later after upstream release. I think, we should discuss it also for KDE Test Day. Because KDE 4.10 will probably hit current Fedora 18 updates much sooner than 2013-05-30, it makes less sense to do Test Day so late.
We can break the tradition to do desktop Test Days after Fedora Beta release and before RC, if this can engage more testers and help developers fix more bugs before final Fedora release.
I can build Fedora 19 or Rawhide live images with KDE 4.10 and we can also ask end-users to test KDE 4.10 on Fedora 18 from updates-testing on this Test Day. I think this can attract more testers, if we make this sooner, don't you think?
I'm asking everybody reading this, especially from KDE SIG: What date do you propose?
Please consider KDE minor bugfix releases schedule and availability of new KDE 4.10 features in Fedora 19 (LightDM etc.).
I discussed this Test Day on #fedora-kde IRC and we agreed on 2013-03-14, any objections?
