#209 Outdated email imported from Fedora accounts
Closed: Fixed 2 years ago by kparal. Opened 2 years ago by mattia.

When I open the form to submit a new blocker proposal, the form is populated with an old email that I don't use since few years (@email.it instead of @protonmail.com).

I don't know where this come from, since there's no such email in Noggin. Also in the old FAS that email was changed with the new one long time ago.

BlockerBugs remembers the email from the time you authenticated your Bugzilla account against it, and it never updates that value. We'll need to allow users to unlink their Bugzilla account, so that they can go through the authentication again and an updated email (or a different login) is retrieved. I'll file a ticket for this.

To fix your current problem, I removed your user from the server. So please force-refresh your browser, hit Propose again, and it should ask you to connect to Bugzilla once again, which should pull updated info. Did it work? Thanks.

Yup, that worked.

I've also noticed there's a /fas_bugzilla endpoint which, if I read the code correctly, also updates the user info and should retrieve the updated email.

Great. I'll look at it as part of #211. Closing this ticket.
