I think we need more info. If it's indeed
Calendar stops crashing when I disable a work calendar where colleagues add their holidays/sick days, so it's a calendar with a really high number of events.
as reported in the bug, I don't think it qualifies as a blocker. So, a tentative:

I proposed this as blocker at first because of the overall scenario. But now, as the reporter detailed the context, I'm not really sure about it anymore. Lets discuss this at today's meeting.
