That load beep should be fixed for the release, because it may occur on reboot right after a new installation from installation media. Fedora should not scare away its users.

Mine does. It's a small device, the size of 9mm shell, directly attached on the motherboard pins. It looks like something out of an old spy movie. :smirk:

I had this problem when I tested out the 37 beta on my laptop a few days ago - it's loud enough to wake the whole house up!
Disabling pcspkr (as detailed here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PC_speaker#Globally) is a poor solution and not one a new user should be expected to find.
