I guess the workstation team should say whether they feel that preview is a basic functionality of nautilus. For me, it's FinalBlocker 0
FinalFE +1 FinalBlocker -1
This doesn't seem to be "basic functionality", particularly considering Workstation WG expressed in their meeting yesterday a desire to have a stricter interpretation of that term. But I've asked them in chat to weigh in here to be sure.
This is a fix for this issue https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/sushi/c/a27a1b064ee290b43bf0f8d5ccaa40549acbe0f7?branch=rawhide I will send a F36 update.
For me this isn't "basic functionality" because I use nautilus a lot but I always forget this function even exists. I've never used it. It seems a bit pointless, when launching a text editor or image viewer to look at the file takes less than a second anyway.
