FinalFE +1

The fix seems very harmless : https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/wireplumber/c/4579fbf1530a9559a1926df26998aeeba06aa603?branch=rawhide

And, we don't need to include this in the GA compose (I am not saying we shouldn't).

0Day +1

I've seen enough complaints about this on reddit that I'm pretty sure it affects many users, even though I didn't hit this myself.

This must be however caused by some system settings or application settings made individually, because the behaviour cannot be reproduced (or at least I was not able to do it) on a cleanly installed F34 (updated or not updated) system. Any attempts to reproduce it ended up in installed F35 with wireplumber running and sound working.

So this does not have be a general issue, maybe a "Common Bugs" entry could do it for people who arrive into this issue.

Thanks @lruzicka for testing. I assumed the problem was clear-cut. If we couldn't reproduce it (I'll try to try), I'd retract my vote.

It's somewhat academic whether we make this a 0Day or not, since we have an update already available and the issue just needs a freeze exception for the update to go out.

AGREED Accepted0Day

Discussed during the 2021-10-25 blocker review meeting: [0]

The decision to classify this bug as both an "Accepted0Day (Final)" and an "AcceptedFreezeException (Final)" was made as a violation of the following blocker criterion:

"For each one of the release-blocking package sets, it must be possible to successfully complete a direct upgrade...The upgraded system must meet all release criteria"
