Not having a background watermark is not a release stopper, I think. I'm not seeing anything in our criteria covering it. Of course we can quickly cook something up, if the Workstation WG really insists. So this requires their input, I believe.

No relevant release criteria for this. Also, tbh it looks more professional without the logo currently because the logo has been glitchy since GNOME 40.
I agree. Unless there is a strong push from the Workstation WG, this is just cosmetics.
