Allan and I are going to work on removing Photos from GNOME core and Fedora 39 default install For Fedora 38, I suggest we interpret quality requirements more leniently than we do for other apps. This is another of those cases where we vote on whether we consider the feature to be basic functionality or not. So my vote indicates that I'd say editing a cropped photo is more advanced functionality rather than basic functionality.
