#92 fedpkg clone should set user.name and user.email
Closed: Invalid 7 years ago Opened 13 years ago by thm.

Would be nice if fedpkg clone (if not run with -a) could automatically set config options config.user and config.email locally, for the cloned repo.

Oops. I meant user.name and user.email, of course.

What would be the heuristics here? Check to see if user.name and user.email are not set globally, and if not, set them only in the repo, and set them to... what? The only thing I can think of is content from the Fedora cert, which would get us a FAS name, and a FAS email address. Is that OK?
