#36 Package zikula-module-EZComments

Created 7 years ago by mchua
Modified 3 years ago

Needed for Fedora Insight. Review request is here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=523343

http://code.zikula.org/ezcomments/browser/trunk

Contains a bunch of directories - we want EZComments

if you could package that (watch out for the directory structure) as the latest version then all should be fine on FI.

Getting a trunk version past review will probably be a bit harder - if it's problematic perhaps we can just push it to the infra repo temporarily.

Thanks!

This seems to be the same version that's packaged. To test on pt6 (you need publictest credentials):

  1. log into pt6
  2. delete the current manually-installed version of ezcomments (I believe it's the folder /usr/share/zikula/modules/EZComments)
  3. install the rpm from http://mchua.fedorapeople.org/packages/zikula-module-EZComments/
  4. go to the zikula web interface, log into the admin account (ask affix, itbegins, mchua, mizmo, mmcgrath, or rbergeron if you need the password) and, in the administrative panel for "modules," enable ezcomments
  5. check to see if things seem to be working (or at least nothing seems to be broken) and report back here

Er, that is... not closing ticket, because although the package works it still needs to be reviewed and pushed to the correct repos (epel, iirc?)

Blocking on https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=523343 - need to resolve a legal issue. Can someone please poke upstream?
