The license plugin gives authors the ability to mark their content with a Creative Commons license and to display the license along with the content.

I know we don't want to burden ourselves with too many plugins, but this one seems particularly relevant to our mission.
Could we simply set the material acceptance policy as "all content will be licensed under [specific CC license]" instead? Might make things simpler, and I don't know that we've run into a lot of authors wanting this or that specific license.
I am also completely happy with that.

We agreed everything is going to just be:
"all content will be licensed under [specific CC license]"
