Thank you @t0xic0der and @mattdm. We will start a review on this article.
At first glance three questions arise.
1) Do you have a preference for a featured image to accompany the article.
2) We try to preface articles with a short "teaser" line or paragraph to indicate the nature of the article to draw the readers into contributing some time reading it. Can either of you add such a line or two above the "Cutting to the chase" section header? The editors can attempt something but the creators will have a better chance at "summarizing" the article succinctly.
3) Originally this was destined for a release on 18-19 November. Do you have a preferred publication date or should the editors publish it at our earliest convenience?
@t0xic0der and @mattdm I've added a possible featured image for your approval.

@rlengland that looks good for the featured image. Could you please only summarize @mattdm's parts as that includes the important announcements while my parts (i.e. everything else apart from the "Cutting to the chase" section) consist of supporting study? As for the publication date, I will defer to @mattdm and @amoloney to state that as they would have a bigger picture of what is going around the Fedora Project.

@t0xic0der @amoloney @mattdm I have added a summary, per my previous comment. Please feel free to modify as any of you see fit.
Aside from that and any modification any one would like to make, all we need is a publication date.
At this time 29 November and 2 December are both scheduled. The 29th is a Test Day announcement so it is pretty much locked in. The 2nd is moveable if desired.
Maybe I misunderstood, but I think Akashdeep was asking for what existed to be shortened, not added to. ๐
I had asked for a summary that would go at the top of the article before the "READ MORE". I think we were in accord.
Ah, I see. Since you've added a new "summary" section, maybe the first header should be changed to something more along the lines of "The gist of the situation"?
Not a bad idea, @glb . I've made the change. Any one ( @t0xic0der @amoloney @mattdm ) have an opinion? ๐
I made a tiny change but apart from that LGTM. I am ambivalent about the publishing date so I am gonna defer to @amoloney and @mattdm on this.
I cant see the draft, is the preview link expired?
@amoloney try signing in here first. Then click the preview link.
Thank you kindly, that did the trick :)
Hi @glb @rlengland , I have reviewed this article and am happy to sign off on publishing it. Could this be done today please? We need to open a ticket for a 2-week feedback period for this announcement in the council repo too and Id like to get them both done today with the magazine link needed for the ticket.
If I have perms I can hit publish, but Im not sure I do and I also dont want to overstep - you run a tight ship here! :)
@amoloney ( @mattdm @t0xic0der ) The article has been published. Thank you.
@rlengland is it possible to remove '- a unified decision' from the heading please? That was missed (apologies!) and is causing all kinds of confusion for folks and gives a poor message about wanting feedback.
Is that possible to do post-publishing?

Sorry I should have addressed this to you, @amoloney
Hi @rlengland & @glb Im sorry to be a pest, but I have a few more edits to make. I believe these should be the last of them  Could you please make the following edits at your nearest convenience:
Please replace the first sentence, ' The decision to move to Forgejo as the new git forge has been made' to 'The decision to move to Forgejo as the new git forge has reached a new stage. Fedora Linux's leadership has decided to choose Forgejo as their preferred git forge replacement.'
In the first paragraph, after this sentence 'Therefore, weโre opening this up one last time to everyoneโs comments.' please also add 'We have created a discussion thread referencing this article to submit your feedback to. You can find it using the #git-forge-future tag.' Please link to this post https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/fedora-moves-towards-forgejo/139114 and you can hyperlink the hashtag if that looks good. Ill leave this to editors discretion!
Tomas's name is spelled wrong - can you correct it from Tomas Hckra to Tomas Hrcka. This is in the first paragraph of 'The Investigation, a.k.a the Prequel!'
Thats the lot then, thank you so much!
@amoloney I have made the changes you have requested. We should probably just grant you editor permissions for these sort of things. I'll do that now. ๐
Thank you, and sorry for being such a pest! I really appreciate it, I owe you and Richard a beer or two...or tea/coffee/sentimental beverage of choice!
@amoloney Magners Cider (Original) for me. It's good to get this right. I don't see that as being a pest. Thanks for your perseverance.
