Please see the link to the comment from jflory7 regarding using “Fedora Chat” instead of “Fedora IM”

Let the editors, know with a comment on this card, when you have your article ready for review and publication in the Fedora Magazine WordPress instance.

@rwright sent a draft and I haven't had time to finish looking through it. I was out for a while due to a death in the family and am getting caught back up on things. Sorry it's taking me a while.

@rwright Life often sets priorities. I was just pinging in case there was a problem somewhere.
Let us know when you are ready.
Thank you for the update.

Hey! My Apologies, but I got behind on this.

Draft here: https://communityblog.fedoraproject.org/?p=13513&preview=true

I need to get @dcantrell 's review first, but I wanted to throw it into the WordPress instance, so it was there as well!

I'm afraid that address is for the Community Blog, not the Fedora Magazine and gets me to an Error 404.
I looked at the Magazine admin site [ https://fedoramagazine.org/wp-admin/ ] and can see no articles that appear to be yours.

I was having the same thought last night.
I’ll move the draft over to Magazine but I am fine if we hold it.

My quick thought on this is that we should prioritize some guidance on using Matrix, but perhaps we could abstain on overemphasizing the Fedora-hosted Matrix accounts just yet. The original motivation for this article was to help folks get more comfortable with the Matrix clients that exist and how to use Matrix effectively. Signing up for an account is obviously important, but I think we could conveniently skip that step.

I really want to underline, highlight, bold-text how someone can join the Fedora Space, because any Matrix experience without joining the main Space is a sub-part experience in my view.

Converted to Fedora Magazine Draft. :)

@rwright Thank you for the "conversion". You had noted that you would like to have @dcantrell included as an author. Before we can do that he will have to log into WordPress using his FAS account. We can then promote him to author and included his name.

Use this site:

I have logged in now. Thanks.

I have logged in now. Thanks.

Thank you, @dcantrel

No problem. Also, for clarification, please use @dcantrell as that is my active FAS name. @dcantrel (one L on the end) was my original FAS name because I chose it to match my Red Hat krb5 name which was limited to 8 characters. Red Hat eventually fixed that and I was changed at work from dcantrel to dcantrell. To continue making my life easy, I asked Fedora Infra to move me from dcantrel to dcantrell and they did. However, there may still be lurkings of my "one L" self out there, but please ignore them!

I see double "L"s everywhere except those I typed (erroneously). Sorry about that.

Article scheduled for publication 0800 UTC 17 April

@dcantrell & @rwright
Thanks for contribution.

Uh, @rlengland, it looks like you forgot to set a cover image for this one. 😕

@glb Sorry.
Looks like you added one. Should I change it to my original planned one or let it go.
Things were a bit frantic yesterday.
