The only thing to do now is add --env=MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 in the terminal and you get Firefox running under Wayland. Do you think it's worthy to be an article?

It looks like there are some technical issues with using Flatpak that would need to be addressed. You might ask about it on that thread if you want to pursue the topic.
