BTW, to save the editors some work down the road:

• “RedHat” should be “Red Hat”.
• Red Hat is not a project.
• When referring to all the operating systems produced by the Fedora Project collectively, use “Fedora Linux” (“Fedora” or “Fedora Project” should be used when referring to the project).
• When referring to the various Fedora Linux operating systems individually, prefix their name with “Fedora” (“Fedora Workstation”, “Fedora Silverblue”, etc.)
• “linux” and “unix” should be written “Linux” and “Unix” respectively.

• “gnu” is a recursive acronym, so it should be written with all uppercase letters (“GNU”).

That particular aspect of the article may need to be verified by Matthew Miller.

It would be good if you cite references for as much as possible.

It would also be helpful if a numbered reference could be placed next to any significant statement that would link directly to the quote or timestamp for the videos.

@tophat I've done an editing pass on this article. Primary changes were to improve the language flow, reduce some of the sentence length, break up the long paragraphs, and add some section headers. Any corrections or further improvements would be great.

A bibliography or references section at the end of the article would be a very good addition.

Also, we would be grateful for any ideas for a featured image. [edit] I've added a tentative image.

@glb Yeah, no worries.

@tophat and @rlengland, Matthew has reviewed the article and I agreed with and made the changes he recommended.

I made a few additional changes that were recommended by the SEO engine and I think this article is ready to go out.

One thing I think could still be improved is the cover image. I'm not crazy about the blue-on-blue coloring. Can we get a little more contrast? Also, something with trees or maybe a timeline might fit the theme better.

Just my two cents.

@glb Nothing is "committed" for the image. Let me look again. I was not finding anything for "timeline" in my previous search, but I'll try again. The blue on blue, in retrospect, isn't real appealing or eye catching.

Just a thought, but what about NASA's expansion of the universe timeline?
