pfrields added a new comment to an issue you are following: `` We already covered cat and tac here: https://fedoramagazine.org/commandline-quick-tips-reading-files-different-ways/ Let's keep an article unified on a single, solid idea. An article on creating dialog boxes would be useful. I think we should probably not call them "funny" because some people may have serious use for them. 😄 I am +1 on that idea.

Hello @rlengland ,
I was wondering if I can rescue this topic by publishing the following article about Dialog and JQ:
Writing useful terminal GUI on Linux with dialog and jq
Let me know what you think. I think is ready to go.

@josevnz I've reassigned this ticket to you. I believe @glb will agree that this is a reasonable change in ownership.
We will do a review and let you know if there are any questions or suggestions.
Thanks!

I've reviewed your article and made a few minor wording changes for added clarity. Also changed the code example style to preformatted to conform to the magazine standard.
The only observation I would make is that a few informative comments in your final TUI script might help the new user better, or more easily, understand the operations being performed at various places. Readers not daily script writers may not be willing to try to work their way through the details without a little assistance.
We will be looking for a good image to use for the feature image so if you have ideas, let us know.
Thanks for your contribution and let us know when/if you have changes completed.
@rlengland I'm done making the suggested changes. Also I like the image you choose for the article.
If you are happy with the contents let's ship it.
