Syspurpose is a cli tool created to work closely with subscription-manager. It allows users to set metadata for their system which helps them to get the right subscriptions on that system and otherwise better track their systems.
We don't have any entries on candlepinproject.org yet on it but likely were it to have any upstream documentation that is where it would land.

It's worth mentioning that we are slowly migrating the functionality of syspurpose into subscription-manager based on user feedback. Until this is complete we'll still need to be able to ship translations for syspurpose should they change or there be a bug which causes our messaging to change in a supported version.
