@ngompa mentionned that it could be possible to change our Plymouth logo for the KDE edition to something similar to this. He needs to write a list of requirements as a ticket in https://invent.kde.org/plasma/breeze-plymouth/-/issues/

I'm not convinced we should, but regardless we should try to make that theme better

Yeah I would agree with that.
How about simply breeze-ifying / KDE-ifying spinner?
Replace the libadwaita spinner with the KDE gear (though I can't lie the libadwaita spinner already looks generic enough to not clash with the rest of the system) Replace use of Cantarell with Noto Sans Replace decryption pass entry box (which is currently GNOME 3 era adwaita) with a text box using Breeze Dark
I don't think the breeze plymouth theme is a good starting point because 1. It doesn't scale well with HiDPI (last I tried it on Neon anyway, used to be off centre at 2560x1600) 2. Doesn't have support for BGRT AFAIK (which I think is a must have, makes Fedora's boot up sequence look a lot more official/integrated looking) 3. In general looks a lot less tidy than the current spinner, despite the design language inconsistencies with Plasma/Breeze
