I was testing the last ISO (Fedora 34 Rawhide 20210128.n.0) and until now it still comes with Calligra, and Ksysguard too (not the new system monitor). These packages will be added later?
It is supposed to be changed over already...
@siosm Could you look into this?
Metadata Update from @ngompa: - Issue assigned to siosm - Issue set to the milestone: Fedora 34
I downloaded from here: https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org/compose/rawhide/Fedora-Rawhide-20210128.n.0/compose/Spins/x86_64/iso/
That's unexpected. I though I had made the necessary changes already. Do we need to change anything else than fedora-comps?
Looks like you need to fix the kickstart file: https://pagure.io/fedora-kickstarts/blob/main/f/fedora-kde-common.ks
https://pagure.io/fedora-kickstarts/pull-request/753
https://pagure.io/fedora-comps/pull-request/595
https://pagure.io/fedora-kickstarts/pull-request/753 > Pushed a commit on top of this one to remove k3b, ktorrent and krusader
Just a reminder that when these are merged, https://spins.fedoraproject.org/en/kde/ should also be updated.
PR for spins website update: https://pagure.io/fedora-websites/pull-request/1058
Yesterday I tested this build ( https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/development/34/Spins/x86_64/iso/Fedora-KDE-Live-x86_64-34-20210211.n.0.iso ) and it still comes with Calligra, K3b, and all KDE office pack. I see now that it have a new 20210212 build, I will test it too and see what comes togheter.
I tested now the https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/development/34/Spins/x86_64/iso/Fedora-KDE-Live-x86_64-34-20210212.n.0.iso and it still comes with all KDE office pack, k3b, and KsysGuard too. And no LibreOffice.
https://pagure.io/fedora-kickstarts/pull-request/753 is still waiting to be merged so as long as this one isn't, LO won't be in the ISO.
OK
Hi friends, just an update. As I understand (poorly btw) the pull-request was merged 4 days ago (14-02-2021) so it was reasonable to expect that by now (19-02-2021) LO was already in the ISO. I downloaded the Fedora-KDE-Live-x86_64-34-20210219.n.0.iso and it still contains Calligra, Ktorrent, Krusader and K3b. And doesn't have LibreOffice.
This is unexpected indeed.
None of our kickstart changes were included in the branching for f34. A PR targeting the f34 branch needs to be done. :persevere:
Whoops! My bad! Will do
Made https://pagure.io/fedora-kickstarts/pull-request/775
Above PR has been merged. Should (hopefully) finally be fixed now!
Fingers crossed :) Tomorrow I'll download the nightly build and see.
Teste the Fedora-KDE-Live-x86_64-34-20210225.n.1.iso and it finally comes with the right LO packages... Great!! <img alt="Screenshot_20210226_125047.png" src="/fedora-kde/SIG/issue/raw/files/3f74f29c59217f18ad151b5aef25f37599003fb820771b97eee7a45c3b0cb3a4-Screenshot_20210226_125047.png" />
