Qt 6.5 LTS is now present in Fedora. It'd be great if we could have it shipped in EPEL 9 too.
epel9 will be getting qt6-qtbase-6.4.3-2 ... what is currently in F37. That is what I have tested the builds and dependencies.
epel9-next (For centos stream) will be getting qtbase 6.5, from what is currently in F38

No. QT 6.5 has not been test-built on epel9 or an equivilant CentOS Stream, because CentOS Stream is currently setup for RHEL 9.3. That means the build has not been tested. QT6 is very first on my epel 9 KDE builds. If it get's delayed due to new dependencies and/or some build issues I haven't tried, then that would delay the rest of the KDE rollout on epel9. As I said above. I will be building QT 6.4.3 on epel9.
Side note 1: Since the current KDE Plasma Desktop on epel9 is build on qt5, I do not think that qt6 needs to follow the same slow pace as qt5. So, after the KDE Plasma desktop is updated on epel9, and qt6 6.5 get's more stable, I'm not against pushing it out to epel9.
It's fine that the Qt 6.5 upgrade happens later. I mainly want it present eventually so we can look at having Plasma 6 nightlies building there in Copr, and because the VFX industry will start moving to Qt 6.5 later this year.
Sounds like a plan. Let's keep this open and I'll close it when we get our first qt6-6.5.x builds in epel9.

qt6 on EPEL 9 has been updated to 6.5.2. The version that is in F38.
qt6-qttools needed to be rebuild in epel9-next due to an updated llvm, we grabbed the rawhide version for that, which had a bumped release. We did that so we wouldn't get out of sync with Fedora.
