Work has begun here https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/g/kdesig/kde-nightly-qt6/ to build KDE Frameworks and Plasma against Qt6.
Many changes already but the following packages are missing:
[ ] - dbusmenu-qt6-devel [ ] - phonon-qt6-devel - Built in copr, needs merging into existing phonon-qt package [x] - Qt6TextToSpeech - Done [x] - polkit-qt6-1-devel - Done [ ] - libaccounts-qt6 [ ] - PackageKit-Qt6
Update: qt6-qtspeech: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2173523 polkit-qt6-1: done in F38/Rawhide
Remaining:
dbusmenu-qt6-devel phonon-qt6-devel
qca-qt6 needed
qca-qt6
Fixed - it's available in F38/Rawhide so I have pulled the builds for Fedora 37 and we will focus only on F38 onwards.
qt6-qtquickcontrols2 needed.
qt6-qtquickcontrols2
qt6-qtquickcontrols2 is deprecated since Qt 6.2 and now part of qt6-qtdeclarative.
Appstream Qt6 subpackage needed.
QAccessibilityClient6 needed for kwin.
Edit: I managed to build Qt6 version with this diff https://pastes.dev/APWZE0JvMj
We should restart this effort. The frameworks should be co-installable now according to https://community.kde.org/Plasma/Plasma_6#Coinstallability. Let's get them in Rawhide to get things started.
