Hi,
on my desktop machine I have front ports for microphone and headphones, but most of the time I'm using 5.1 setup. So my profile in audio is set to Analog Surround 5.1.
Analog Surround 5.1
However, when I put in the headphones the profile stops to work and I need to change it manually to Analog Stereo Output to make the headphones work, however I can't use headphone microphone in this profile.
Analog Stereo Output
So here are my options, when the headphones are plugged in to the front panel:
Analog Stereo Input
Analog Surround 5.1 + Analog Stereo Input
This worked fine on Silverblue. So I'm not sure why this isn't working on Kinoite. Right now, I'm not able to use headphones microphone on my computer.

This is something hard to figure out without access to the hardware. Can you check if this work on the Fedora KDE Spin (not Kinoite) to see if that is an issue there?
Otherwise, you'll have to report this upstream.
I tried it today on Fedora KDE Spin and the issue is the same, the correct profile is not available. I will create the issue upstream.
The bug is reported upstream https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=446988
