Hello everyone, I am Mayank Singh an undergraduate student majoring in Information Technology.
I have not participated in major FOSS projects till now and my first time engaging in one. I look forward to working in areas of development and infrastructure surrounding the packaging ecosystem and automation, collaborating with amazing and experienced folks.
I have been using Fedora since Fedora 34 for my development setups and environment along with some other distributions for my homelab-like setup, also motivating others to use Linux as their daily systems. I Love tinkering with and breaking things to gain knowledge. I have built some small software project with go and python, shell scripting and i live mostly in the command line and neovim's my favourite editor , comfortable with git and docker.
I have never used mailing lists to communicate extensively before but open to using them as the medium with the preferred channel of communication being matrix/element.
I am looking to contribute as much in my free-time (around 7-10 hours a week i guess).
