Hello @hozansahin! Welcome to Fedora!

Before we begin, please subscribe to the Fedora join mailing list at
fedora-join@lists.fedoraproject.org
.
We use this list for general discussion, and it is also where the community
shares tasks that need help.

Then, could you please introduce yourself (preferably on the list) so that the
community can get to know you? (interests, skills, anything you wish to say
about yourself really)

In the meantime, these links would be a good read. They tell you what the
Free/Open Source community is about, and then they'll introduce you to Fedora:
what Fedora is all about, and what we do, and of course, how we do it:

If you have any questions at all, please ask! We'll use this ticket to keep in
touch! :)

@hozansahin was already added to the wikiedit FAS group
@hozansahin you already sent a brief introduction on Telegram, but please subscribe the fedora-join mailing list and send an introduction there as well. As you will see, sending an introduction to the team you would like to join is always a good practice to let other community member to get to know you.

Hello, I'm here. please excuse me. i know little english I am having difficulty understanding the manuals because of this.
I wish there were Turkish guides or I could meet a Turkish person to guide me

Hi @hozansahin,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble understanding the attached links due to the linguistic differences. Our localization/internationalization team is constantly working on bringing Fedora closer to newer languages and culture. For Docs f.p.o. pages, you would want to check the extreme right side of the top navbar to find a language drop-bar and see if a Turkish version of the page is available or not.

Alternatively, if the translations are not natively available - I would suggest the use of a browser-native translation tool, which are readily present in Chromium-based browser to convert English text to Turkish. In case you still need to get in touch with a Turkish person to guide you, I would tag @jibecfed here and they may be able to help you with this.

Do you think know English is a barrier to contribute to Fedora?

This Question is part of the Anual Survey, you can collaborate and make fedora better...

Hey there,

Hope you are doing well and enjoyed your time with us at Nest With Fedora 2021. Should you have missed out on our talks, a recording of those would be made available very soon on our official YouTube channel. I reach out to know if you have found something exciting to contribute to and be a part of in the community. With that, I am marking this ticket with its third and final progress check.
