#89 "Hello world" category on discourse under "Fedora Friends" where new people can introduce themselves
Closed: Invalid 4 years ago by alciregi. Opened 5 years ago by ankursinha.

Since discourse is gaining momentum, what do people think of using it for newbies. A simple way could be a "Hello world" category where new members can introduce themselves. It's like them coming to our ML/channel, only they come to a place where lots of community members are all available.

Alternatively, if "Fedora Friends" is for this already, we need to make people more aware of it. How?

Not sure if this doesnt already exist, bit I vote for close as wontfix.
People can introduce themselves on any of the channels already and we are
working on tweaking the entry process for newcomers already (ticket on
mindshare)
