I came across fedora thanks to Google Code In 2019 where I got to learn more about how to Fedora Organization is Organized and I my self was guided by the Join SIG and now would like to be a Member for the JOIN SiG.
As you can read here, https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fedora-join/#_membership there are some prerequisites. - a SIG member should be part of two other groups (CLA+2) - active for at least the previous release cycle - must be subscribed to the mailing list
These prerequisites are here in order to be skilled enough, or in other words, in order to have a sufficient knowledge of the community, the teams composing the community, the workflows, the news, etc. I would like to say that nobody here is an expert of every facet of Fedora (i.e. I'm still fighting to know a lot of things, technical and not). Someone his more expert in some areas, but nobody knows everything, and he/she is not supposed to be :-)
But if you are asking to join this SIG, I can trust you that you are aware of these prerequisites and I can assume that you are committed to learn more. I think that every help is important here.
I don't know what other members are thinking. Can we start a discussion? @ankursinha @hhlp @bt0dotninja @alishapapun
I know we have SOPs and so on, but since we don't receive too many requests to join this group, I think that we could accept this application. But let's discuss this.
+1 from me. @nasirhm knows how things work well enough, and I'm sure like us, they'll keep learning more about Fedora as they spend more time in the community.
