It's a great idea. It would have to be something standardized between Workstation and Spins, because spins don't use gnome-initial-setup.

I was thinking about the same thing but I still don't know how we can do it. Also I am not a designer, so I just share here my idea.

My idea is to do a landing page for join.fedoraproject.org. I think this address is crucial because we can use it during presentations and easily share it with newcomers.

I imagine a design similar to getfedora.org and developer.fedoraproject.org but with the following features as a must have:

• answer to simple questions like "What can I do for Fedora?" and "What can Fedora do for you?", although not explicitly
• use the four foundations of the project as a medium to light a path to the possibilities that newcomers have

Speaking about the last point, I imagine a "Friends" card where there are links to Fedora (Telegram?) channels and a "Let's introduce yourself!" button, which guides the newcomer to Join the SIG chat group.

@corsaro yes, these are good ideas, we can work on them, but they are far beyond the proposal on this ticket... which is far more simple.
To be more clear, my idea was only a banner for the (still WIP) https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/join/ page and for the pagure repository (or any other place that is related to the new workflow).
