So, https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Join is not appropriate for newbies. It describes the roles, but we want newcomers to get to know the people in the Fedora community first.

Yes, but at least they don't land in an outdated or unmaintained page. So the redirect is good.

No---this page should become "Roles" somewhere. I don't know where. Maybe leave it on the wiki for the time being---migrating it to docs would require quite a bit of work?
