#134 Test live stream from Jitsi to Youtube
Closed: Fixed 5 years ago by ankursinha. Opened 5 years ago by alciregi.

This could be useful to record classroom sessions held on Jitsi.

We're going to have sessions that are quite popular with attendees. Buildah for example. So if we can test this ASAP, that'll be helpful

Requirements:

  • the account needs to be verified (it needs a phone number: http://www.youtube.com/verify)
  • then, live streaming needs to be enabled on the channel: this takes 24 hours(!)
  • during the session, click on "live stream (beta)" to enable it. We really need to test this to see how well it works. We also need to check if the live stream is recorded.

@bt0dotninja : you manage the Fedora youtube account, right? Please ping us when you have a few minutes to spare.

We also need to check if the live stream is recorded.

The video will be available on the youtube channel channel just after the live stream ends.
Please note that there will be the Jitsi logo in the top left angle.
