Hi, IoT images are currently not present in Fedora Media Writer. But some ARM v7 and AArch64 support is there already (e.g. for Server), so at least on the same devices (mostly Raspberries, I guess?) it could be possible to use FMW for IoT images as well and copy them to an SD card (whether that applies to raw images or installer images, I don't know, but you surely do).
So this is just a friendly tip and perhaps a tracking ticket for having IoT present in FMW, if you want to go this way. FMW is now maintained by Jan Grulich @jgrulich , so feel free to talk to him. I'll watch this ticket, and if IoT appears in FMW, I'll adjust our Fedora QA processes to make sure we cover this new functionality with regular testing. (We originally discussed this topic in our tracker, but I realized it makes more sense to track it here instead).
I don't think the situation regarding IoT in FMW has changed since the last conversation I had with @pwhalen, documented here: https://pagure.io/fedora-qa/issue/620#comment-652325. As it stands, FMW would need significant redesign to allow for user-input to specify which IoT device the particular image being written will be used on.
I am not sure where this is but if it should be revisted please open a ticket in the IoT tracker: https://github.com/fedora-iot/iot-distro
