#9905 Do we have Fedora application to owner information somewhere?
Closed: Fixed by kevin. Opened by pnemade.

Describe what you would like us to do:

I want to know who owns new FAS system who can help me on IRC to debug my FAS issue?

When do you need this to be done by? (YYYY/MM/DD)

I think the closest thing we have is: https://pingou.fedorapeople.org/fedora_tech_debt_matrix/Applications.html

I think your issue has been sorted out now? Feel free to re-open if there's more to do here.

Yes but there should really be some way to get attention of Fedora application owner. I have been looking into who is owner of noggin and the above link shows different people whereas person who helped me is different. Of-Course they can be different.

My only intention is when urgent issue appears respective owner should be known to reporter and that respective owner should also get some notification that an issue has been raised against their Fedora applications.

Well, the goal of the team is that knowledge is spread sufficiently among team members so that anyone in the team should be able to help and if they cannot then things are escalated.

So for your purpose, it shouldn't matter who is the POC/expert for that app. We actually purposely do not want direct ping to people because that interrupts them from what they are currently working on, which may also be important, could even be more important.

I will again say limitations of noggin has not been announced anywhere before deploying it. I had to change my email address on the package review bug to let the fedora repo request processed.

I'm sorry the new account system caused you problems. :( We did announce the change and asked everyone to have patience with us as we moved to it.

For the vast majority of our users and use cases it's been working great, and for those other cases we are working through fixing them.

I'm not sure what else we can do for you here than work with you to get your use cases working?

My understanding is that fedscm-admin is using the new account system now, and we got your second account working correctly with it.
Do you have further issues that need addressing?

I don't have any further issues to discuss here. I think I am good now. Thank you all for your comments here.
