Now that Fedora Accounts is live, and FAS2 is in read-only mode, it appears the FAS repo on the fedora-infra github has already been archived. However, IMO there are a few things wqe should do here to close this out properly.
Here is my proposal of things that we should do here to close FAS out:
Change the default branch of the fedora-infra/fas to be the FAS2 branch (https://github.com/fedora-infra/fas/tree/master). Currently the default branch is FAS3 (https://github.com/fedora-infra/fas/tree/develop), which never finished development and was never released. Keeping this as the default branch may cause issues. Also, add a note to the readme of the FAS3 branch noting what FAS3 was (in-development, never completed)
Add a note to the FAS2 devlopment branch stating that FAS is no longer in devlopment, nor maintained. And a couple sentences with links to noggin / freeipa-fas as being the successor to fas in the Fedora Project.
Close off all the issues and open PRs in the repo, noting these won't be fixed / merged. Also, add a note pointing to the noggin issue tracker as the place to re-file RFEs if they are still wanted.

FWIW, i am happy to do all this if someone can give me access to do these things on fedora-infra/fas

For the record: @ryanlerch already had permissions for adding a note and closing issues/PRs. I did the branch shuffling just now, and will re-archive when Ryan confirms he's done with issues, PRs, and a note.
OKay, all done.
Only updated the README on the main branch. But included a footnote on there about FAS3.
