#9822 cannot ssh into fedorapeople.org as linuxsystemroles
Closed: Fixed 3 years ago by kevin. Opened 3 years ago by rmeggins.

Describe what you would like us to do:

ssh -i secrets_ci_id_rsa linuxsystemroles@fedorapeople.org fails with linuxsystemroles@fedorapeople.org: Permission denied (publickey)

Also fails with the other key in the authorized_keys file. This started happening a few hours ago.

Not sure if this is related to https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/issue/9768

When do you need this to be done by? (YYYY/MM/DD)

ASAP - this blocks our CI reporting

Should be fixed now.

For some reason the playbook put the base /etc/hosts in place instead of the vpn one. ;(

@nphilipp any ideas on why it would do that?

@kevin Oops, probably because the hosts role overwrites it subsequently. The VPN, not VPN logic probably needs to go into it rather than the ipa/client role.
