#9739 Can't build package 'clipman' "not in list for tag f35-updates-candidate"
Closed: Fixed by wef. Opened by wef.

I had the repo created 2 days ago https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/32795
but I still can't do a build:

$ fedpkg build

I'll repeat what I added to the review bug:

So, there's a problem here.

The review and the spec name are "clipman"

But the actual package name in the spec is "golang-github-yory8-clipman", ie the %{goname} value.

This is not acceptable by guidelines ( https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/packaging-guidelines/#_spec_file_naming ) and our tooling doesn't expect it or work right either. :)

So, either you have to name this 'clipman' in the spec, or you have to rename the package to 'golang-github-yory8-clipman' and have a golang-github-yory8-clipman.spec file in there.

I'm guessing since this is a binary, end user thing, it should just be called 'clipman' ?

Lets close this and use the review bug to track actions from this?

OK, gotcha. I'll try to fix that. Thx

That one has:

Name: i3blocks

so yeah, it works as expected.
