#9705 Not able to build new module
Closed: Fixed 3 years ago by kevin. Opened 3 years ago by jplesnik.

Describe what you would like us to do:

I want to build new module perl-CGI:4.51 [1], but the build command time out.

$ fedpkg module-build -w
Submitting the module build...
Could not execute module_build: HTTPSConnectionPool(host='mbs.fedoraproject.org', port=443): Read timed out. (read timeout=120)

Is it anything else needed to be configured for building?

When do you need this to be done by? (YYYY/MM/DD)

asap

I found that the build was executed, but it is not easy to check it without any build/task ID.

https://release-engineering.github.io/mbs-ui/modules

and

fedpkg module-overview

should show you the module builds list.

I think this was a one off error when mbs was hitting out of memory. ;(

If you are seeing it more, or need any further info, please reopen and let us know.
