#9388 AWS: create S3 bucket for Testing Farm
Closed: Fixed 3 years ago by mvadkert. Opened 3 years ago by mvadkert.

We need to upload some data to S3 and would need a bucket created, as we do not have access.

Bucket name: testing-farm-image-import
Location: us-east-2
User: aws-fedora-ci/mvadkert

Please also make access to the S3 also for our "automation user".

@bstinson hi, how far are we away making centos images around on AWS pls?

I will have to upload my own images as the public images which are there are somehow weird ... I was not able to boot for example CentOS 8.2 :/

@kevin sorry for escalating this, but this is blocking onboard of Packit to our Testing Farm service. Should be hopefully just few clicks :/

Do you need this bucket to be public? Or is it just for internal use?

We prepend 'fedora' to all our fedora buckets (we share this account with centos and other groups), so I added 'fedora-' to the front of the name;
fedora-testing-farm-image-import

I've created it and adjusted policy. If it needs to be public I will have to unset the 'block all public access' stuff on it.

@kevin no public access needed .. I think it works now, seems I am able to upload data there cool!

Thanks very much for fixing this so quickly!
