#9381 kinit: Client 'dnelson@FEDORAPROJECT.ORG' not found in Kerberos database while getting initial credentials
Closed: Fixed 3 years ago by dnelson. Opened 3 years ago by dnelson.

Describe what you would like us to do:

Get the aforementioned error when running 'kinit dnelson@FEDORAPROJECT.ORG' and I did log into FAS, and retry. Same error. Was told to open a ticket as I must be having some issue with syncing information from fas->ipa. Please remedy.
Note that account was just created earlier today.

When do you need this to be done by? (YYYY/MM/DD)

Whenever you are able to do it.

Any reason this is private?

I've reset the IPA sync status in FAS' DB. Could you try login into FAS again? It should re-trigger an attempt to sync to IPA.

No. I'm new to your system, and thinking my issue, in a sense, was unimportant, and not wanting to 'spam' the list with it, I thought private may take it off the list, but still allow it to be seen by the admins. Which turned out to not be the case. Sorry.

I removed the private setting.

That worked. After logging into FAS, I could do the kinit without issue.
Thank you!
