#8828 Clean up elections in ansible
Closed: Fixed 4 years ago by smooge. Opened 4 years ago by pingou.

Describe what you would like us to do:

Elections has been running in openshift for a while now, both in staging and production, so we should be able to clean things up in ansible as well as decommission the old boxes.

When do you need this to be done by? (YYYY/MM/DD)

No hurry

Do the inventory group vars and playbooks get used to make the elections app in Openshift?

Files that I found related to it:

inventory/group_vars/elections
inventory/group_vars/elections_stg
playbooks/groups/elections.yml
roles/elections/templates/alembic.ini
roles/elections/templates/elections_sar.py
roles/elections/templates/fedora-elections.cfg
roles/elections/templates/fedora-elections.conf
roles/elections/templates/fedora-elections.wsgi
roles/hosts/files/elections01.phx2.fedoraproject.org-hosts
roles/hosts/files/elections02.phx2.fedoraproject.org-hosts
roles/openvpn/server/files/ccd/elections01.phx2.fedoraproject.org
roles/openvpn/server/files/ccd/elections02.phx2.fedoraproject.org

There are others but they are under the openshift elections but I am not sure if there is duplication in the roles

I think the ones you list there can all be removed, the openshift bits should be self-sustaining :)

This is done. Items have been removed from nagios and ansible. I will remove from DNS later.
