@cverna told me recently about https://kibana.app.os.fedoraproject.org I didn't know about this but it gives us access to logs from pods in openshift that have already exited. This would be really useful information for the projects I contribute to.
@cverna thought that by adding my name to a list that we did in 62e3bb0 would work but that doesn't seem to have given me everything I need. I should probably revert 62e3bb0 and we should add my name (and other coreos project members) access to kibana.
How do we do that?
By next wednesday (2020/03/04) would be nice.

I think @dustymabe that you have access (ie you can log in) but there an error or lack of configuration (missing index ?) in kibana.
Could take a screenshot of the page after you logged in ? that will be help investigate what's wrong.
Right. I can log in (and I could log in even before 62e3bb0) but I can't actually see any logs from pods and things. The only difference62e3bb0 made was that now I see more projects in the list (not just ones that I'm the appowner for).
Here is a screenshot:

Note that if I click on the "Visualize" button it never takes me anywhere. I still end up on the "Management" page.
@dustymabe sorry for asking, I guess it is, but can you confirm that this ticket is still valid?
As far as I can see in ansible, I have the same permissions as you in openshift and I can see logs fine in kibana :(
thanks for looking at this pingou - let's try to screenshare to see if we can see the same things tomorrow or friday
it looks like I have the access needed but the UI is just a bit non-intuitive. I'll close this out now.
