#8676 Issues with grokmirror
Closed: Fixed 4 years ago by kevin. Opened 4 years ago by ignatenkobrain.

Hello,

I constantly notice that if repos are being created and commits are pushed within few hours (most likely before grokmirror runs at night), those repos do not appear in grokmirror until somebody will push into them once more next days. That means, grokmirror is now missing around 15 rust packages (at least).

Also, for some reason, rust-mac and rust-futures-preview are considered "different" for grok-pull everytime there are any changes in manifest.

Would be very helpful if you could fix those issues ASAP since I rely on grokmirror (since there is nothing better right now in Fedora Infrastructure) for building the Rust stuff.

If root cause won't be found, would be nice to trigger grokmirror with those force parameters (or whatever you will use to fix it) to run automatically so that I don't have to create this ticket anymore.

So, grokmirror really isn't happy with the number of repos we have. ;(

It takes it about 3 hours now to crawl over all the repos.

I ran it a number of times and then copied the new manifest in.

Can you look and see if it looks in better shape now? Hopefully it is.
