#861 Add permission post to @fedora-announce-list
Closed: Fixed None Opened 15 years ago by ush.

Please enable me (OisinFeeley aka "ush" aka oisinfeeley@imapmail.org) to post to @fedora-announce-list. I am one of the three FWN editors and need to be able to post to the list on a semi-regular basis. It would be ideal if my posts were not held in the moderation queue so that we can share the latest issue whenever I'm the only one on deck. Mspevack or Pcalarco can act as sponsors or vouch for me as required. Thanks for your help.

Hi Oisin,
This is done.

As of today 2009-02-09 it appears that my permission to post has been revoked and my posts stay in the moderation queue?

Also omehow three copies of the post were sent although I would have expected only two as I had only done a

Thanks for any help you can give on this.

This is still a problem as of 2009-03-09. Fedora Weekly News #166 has been sitting in the moderation queue for 2 hours and 12 minutes now.

A look at the mailman interface shows me that "oisinfeeley@imapmail.org" is approved to send without moderation. Reopen this ticket if that doesn't work for FWN 167, okay?

Weird. Reopening the ticket as requested for FWN 167. This time the post went out with a circa 7 minute delay (which is fine) but prior to that happening I got an email telling me that my post is held for moderation. I include it below with full headers in case that's any use:
